Concepts about "Do we survive Death:
-Reincarnation- This concept states that once you pass away you are reborn into a diffrent life, whether it be a lizard , fox , cat , or a rhino , possibly even born another human.
-Christianity- This is the belief that in life, if you do good and obey the commandments then you will go to heaven with god and the "Golden Gates", or if you act bad and disobey the commandments you go to hell nad be damed.
-We become all and everything- this concept, actually being my belief, i that when we pass away, we become what we were befor we came into existince, everything and nothing. We become the air, the moon, the grass that grows, the universe. Back to the same place we came from.
-Ghosts/Spirits- this concept suggest that once you die, you become a spirit, or "ghost", and that you roam the earth, maybe knowing of their death, maybe not. Alot of people fear this believe because they are afraid of hauned houses or spirits watching them, maybe trying to find the reason for their death.
-The end of all- This thought is more of death is the end. Nothing hapens, just blackness for eternity.

Blog Post #3
Spiritual Karma Reincarnation is highly relevant to my subject because reincarnation is a large belief in life after death. Spiritual karma reincarnation states that when you die, your body goes to the world, becoming the trees, air, and everything.

This topic i chose for this semester is "Do we survive death?". This question has intrigued me for a long time, so what better time to research it then when i can also make it homework? (two birds with one stone maybe?)
There are many beliefs about life after death, some so afraid of the subject, they wont even talk about it! On the other hand, some claim to have had, "after death experiences". Such as Pam Reynolds, a scientist whom studies Life after death, decided to make an experiment w other trained scientist, so manually shut down most vital organ, including her brain. In this time, Pam said to have had an out of an out of body experience, and was in the room watching her vegatable body, soon to be brought back to life, with no side effects. Remarkably, when they asked about what she saw, she explained in complete detail. http://www.near-death.com/experiences/evidence01.html
Ghosts are thought to be real to some, others a myth. But the idea of living after death is a huge part of ghosts. Ghosts don't always have to be scary either, maybe just visions, auras, or even obscure messages from a loved one, claims Veronica Keen, widower of one of Britain's most prominent phycic researchers, in an interview with The Psychic Times. Veronica told the interviewer that her husband contacted her after his death on several mediums, asking her to contact Dr. Gary Schwartz, and have Schwartz conduct research with the deceased. In the end, they conducted many experiments and, to the extreme surprise to Dr. Swartz, he had to change his straightforward views. As said by him himself, "I can no longer ignore the data and dismiss the words," he wrote in his popular but somewhat controversial book. "They are as real as the sun, the trees, and our television sets, which seem to pull pictures out of the air." (talking about seeing Mr. Keen.) This subject is very contriversial. Most people must see it with their own eyes to belive, even if the information is givin by a Harvard and Yale graduate. http://www.thepsychictimes.com/articles/life_after_death.htm
Has anyone ever told you that you looked like a bird? Cat? Maybe a monkey? There are some to belive that to be true, well in a different sence. What if in a previous life, you WERE a bird? You WERE a cat? What if when we die, instead of life being over, you go on to the next lesson. Even maybe in this life you are dependant and dirty, so in your next life you will be a cat, which is known for their independence and cleanliness. Each for our own personal lessons. given to us, all to teach us love, humbility, and pride. Recent reasearch has also shown the some young children, around the age of 3, are able to describe their previous life,in detail.

Intriguing 2 Chapters
The first chapter I chose is "Do we Survive Death?". I liked this chapter because the question has always bothered me. I believe that when we die, we once again become what we were before we were born, everything and nothing. I believe that we are all connected to each other in life, just as we are in death. This is why I believe in psychics, metaphysics, and very open minded beliefs in god (or whatever "name" you want to say). I don't see life and death as two seperate things, but merely just another path that you must take in "life". (idea also noted at http://www.lotsofessays.com/viewpaper/1692700.html).
Knowledge of the World Around Us is the second chapter I chose. I found this chapter extremely intriguing also. The world is so vast, and I believe we keep ourselves from seeing alot of truth due to our negligence to the preciousness of our life. We are so out of tune from our surroundings and whats going on, that even in Korea when the Tsunami hit Thailand, there were no wild animals, including birds, within 2 miles of the tsunami! http://www.livescience.com/environment/ap_050328_tsunami_ease.html. In my eyes, Knowledge of the World Around Us would be the most interesting to write my paper on.
